Willie Jones

April 23. Lisa Mayhew Jones has been appointed Interim executive director of the Smithville Community Coalition, replacing Willie Jones who stepped down due to health issues.

Willie Jones will join a newly created Emeritus Board of Advisors,  a non-voting advisory board supporting the Smithville Community Coalition Board of Directors.

He will also assume the role of senior advisor on a part-time basis.

Antoine Dennard will be added to the SCC leadership team as a contractor responsible for construction services. A contract advisor to Willie Jones regarding the Smithville revitalization, he is known for his work in various affordable housing projects around Mecklenburg County. He is also a partner at Quore Advisors.
