Thursday, June 13

The Chain to perform at LangTree Lake Norman.

LangTree Live

6:30-9 pm | June 13. The Chain. Fleetwood Mac tribute band. LangTree Lake Norman, 401 Langtree Rd., Mooresville.

Ladies Night Out

5-8 pm | June 13. Check in is at 5 pm at Concierge; grab your stroll map and raffle ticket while supplies last. Enjoy special retail deals and in store activations. Gather in The Plaza at 6 pm for the first Ladies Night Out After Party, featuring a photo-op, a live DJ, Champagne tent and more. Raffle giveaways start at 7 pm; guests must be present to claim their prize. Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Pasta Making Class

Downtown Denver Dry Pond Days Fair

3-8 pn  June 13-16. Over 50 vendors and food trucks and dozens of carnival rides. Fun for the whole family. Entrance to the fair is free. Ride tickets/wrist bands can be purchased day of. Located at NC Business 16 & St. James in Denver, adjacent to Rock Springs School.

Friday, June 14

Fun Fridays: Breathe & Stretch

Noon – 2 pm | June 14. Movement with GiveYoga NC. Free summer activities for all children of all ages in Donoghue’s Open Door, located inside FeedNC, 2456 Charlotte Hwy., Mooresville 28117.

Sundown Sounds

7-9 pm | June 14. Blue Monday, rock ’n roll. Free concert at Ramsey Creek Beach.

Second Friday Street Festival 

6-10 pm | June 14. Live concert, food trucks, craft brews, artisans and vendors, kids zone, games. Oak Street Mill, Cornelius.

Live Under The Oaks

6-8 pm | June 14.  Rockie Lynne Band.  No coolers are allowed on property. A bar will be onsite in the designated area provided by Red Rocks for beverage needs. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Seating space may be limited. The Plaza, Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Movies in the Park

Dusk | June 14. “Wonka.” Movies are open to the public, free of charge. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Veterans’ Park – Downtown Huntersville.

Carolina Barbecue  to benefit Cool Kids Campaign

4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration

2024 North Carolina Juneteenth Festival

1 pm | June 15. The 2024 North Carolina Juneteenth Festival themed “Educating, Empowering, Entertaining” will feature over 100 black owned companies. Crafts, culture, performances, art, kids games, information and more. This is a family friendly free event. Cabarrus Arena & Events Center, 4751 NC Highway 49 N, Concord.

Intro to Flat Water Kayaking

9:30-11 am; arrive no later than 9:15 am so that class can start on time | June 15. This class is designed for paddlers who have little to no experience kayaking on calm water. Participants will spend 20-30 minutes in the classroom with the rest of the time on the water. All sessions will be lead with experienced and qualified instructors. Must register. Cost per person: $30 for residents, $36 others. Lake Norman Community Sailing Center, 15901 NC-73, located within Blythe Landing Park, Cornelius.

Standup Paddleboarding

9:30-11 am; arrive no later than 9:15 am so that class can start on time | June 15. Learn stand up paddleboarding (SUP) in a safe and controlled environment with experienced and certified paddle instructors. Participants will use top quality, new equipment. Must register. 2024 Concerts @ the Circles

5- 6:30 pm, acoustic artist. 7-9  pm headliner | June 15. Abbey Elmore Band – Variety. Jetton Street near Clean Juice, 605 D, Davidson. 

An Intimate Evening with Priscilla Presley

Doors open 5 pm, 6 pm show | June 15. In this all-new “Evening With”, Priscilla Presley is finally going to tell her story of the years with the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Papapalooza, a Father’s Day Celebration

10 am – noon | June 16. Join Love Lake Norman for a worship experience followed by a hangout with classic cars, hot dogs, games and cold sodas for the dads. Come on out and bring your dad for a super-fun morning together. The whole LKN community is invited. Cain Center for the Arts, 21348 Catawba Ave.

Historic Tour of the Store

1-2:15 pm and 3-4 pm | June 16. Step back in time to 1779 and explore the Hugh Torance House and Store and grounds.  The historic Hugh Torance House and Store is the oldest-standing store in NC and one of Mecklenburg County’s few surviving 18th-century structures. The site is adjacent to Cedar Grove, the National Register brick 1831 Greek Revival home of James Torrance, son of Hugh and Isabella Torance. This is a free tour but donations are most welcome. Concerts on the Green

6-8 pm | June 16. Band of Oz – Beach/Variety. Town Green, downtown Davidson.
