Food Truck Fridays

11:30 am-1pm | Aug 30. Sandwich Express. Bring your friends, family, and co-workers and enjoy lunch. The picnic tables will be available for seating. Cain Park, 21336 Catawba Ave.

Live Under The Oaks

6-8 pm | Aug. 30.  Black Glass.  No coolers are allowed on property. A bar will be onsite in the designated area provided by Red Rocks for beverage needs. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Seating space may be limited. The Plaza, Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Life through a Lens

11am – noon | Aug. 30. Join Park Staff on a guided hike as we rediscover Alder Trail through a different point of view. Following the hike, participants will also have the opportunity to view objects collected from the hike under a microscope. Lake Norman State Park Visitor Center, 759 State Park Rd., Troutman.

Battle of Charlotte

10 am -5 pm Aug. 31; 10 am – 4 5 pm Sept. 1. Step back in time and join us for The Battle of Charlotte Event at Historic Rural Hill. Enjoy demos, exhibits, food and fun. $7 child; $15 adult. Historic Rural Hill, 431 Neck Rd., Huntersville.
