March 7, 8 and 10
Open Track Nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
6-8 pm. James Hoyt Wilhelm Park’s 1/4-mile walking track will be lighted on Mondays and Bailey Road Park’s regulation track will be lighted on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both open to the public.
March 8
6:30 to 9 p.m. Adults may drop in on Tuesdays for basketball at Bailey Road Recreation Center, 11536 Bailey Road, inside Bailey Middle School. Ages 18 and older. Free.
March 9
Open Mic
7-10 pm. Eddie Kennedy. Eleven Lakes Brewing Company, 10228 Bailey Rd. #201, Cornelius.
10 – 11 am. Join Mayor Washam at Waterbean Coffee for a conversation. Drop in and share what’s on your mind. Mayor Washam will be making a monthly appearance at coffee shops around Cornelius and he’d like to invite you to join him. These events are informal and operate on a drop-in basis.
March 10
Join the Lake Norman Bridge Center
12:30-4pm Thursdays at Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave., if you have an interest in learning the game of bridge or want to develop your playing, bidding, and defense skills. All ages and skill levels are welcome. $5 per day, pay at the door.
Thinking’ & Drinkin’ Trivia
7 pm, but you can join at any round. Every Thursday. Lost Worlds Brewing, 19700-D One Norman Blvd.
Music Bingo
7-9 pm Thursdays. Eleven Lakes Brewing Company, 10228 Bailey Rd. #201, Cornelius.
March 11
6-9 pm. An evening full of live music, dancing, festive gear and more to celebrate the second annual Luck of the Village at Birkdale Village, Huntersville.
March 12
Our Town Stage Concert Series – Spin Doctors
Doors open at 7pm. Cocktail hour starts at 7pm, enjoy a cocktail at our cash bar located in the lobby of the auditorium. Buy tickets here. Joe V. Knox Auditorium at the The Charles Mack Citizen Center, Mooresville.
Go green with a 5K competitive or recreational color run through the trails at the Whitewater Center.
Watch as the Whitewater Center’s resident leprechaun transforms the river green for St Patrick’s Day. Start the day with the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run before rafting down the river and listening to live music.
9 am Color Me Green 5K Trail Run (Competitive Division);
9:30 am Slow Flow Yoga; 10:30 am Color Me Green 5K Trail Run(Recreational Division); 11:30 am Open Level Flow;
1 pm River turns green and live music: New Breed Brass Band; 3 pm live music: Cha Wa. Whitewater Center.
March 13
Hugh Torance House and Store Tour
1-4 pm. Step back in time to 1779 and explore the Hugh Torance House and Store, 8231 Gilead Road, Huntersille. Guided tours at 1:15 and 3 pm. There is no fee but donations are most welcome.

Visit the exhibit during Cornelius Arts Center gallery regular business hours, 10 am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Admission is free.
