Sip & Support

5-7 pm | Oct. 24. Happy hour fundraiser on the patio of Peninsula Prime to benefit Western North Carolina. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer, rotating apps, a silent auction. Get tickets online; $40 per person. Peninsula Prime, 19918 North Cove Rd., Cornelius.

8th Annual Boos and Brews

SOLD OUT: 7:30 pm | Oct. 24-26. Davidson Community Players presents its 8th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival about all things spooky and autumnal.  Armour Street Theatre, Davidson.

Friday, Oct. 25

Halloweekend in Davidson

5 pm | Oct. 25. Trick-or-treating down Main Street for the annual Halloween March. Line up begins at 5 pm in front of the Davidson Public Safety Building, 216 S. Main St., Davidson. The Jack-O-Lantern Walk is at Roosevelt Wilson Park. It’s free to enter, and community members are encouraged to stop by and view the jack-o-lanterns on display through Sunday, Oct. 27.

Fall Festival

3-5 pm | Oct. 25. Family fun fall fest with games, food, crafts, charity raffle, music, pumpkins, bounce house. Free admission. The Goddard School, 9534 Kincey Ave., Huntersville.

Boatyard Halloween party

7:30 pm | Oct. 25. Part history lesson, part social science revelation, Wisconsin Poet Laureate Dasha Kelly Hamilton delivers a multi-media stage production where baking becomes an exploration of equity, class and race in America. 43rd Annual Christmas Made in the South!

Fri. 10 am-6 pm Friday and Saturday; 11 am-5 pm Sunday. Exhibitors will be there all three days demonstrating and selling their handcrafted works. Adults $8 online ticket plus credit card processing fees; admission good for all three days with hand stamp. Children 12 and younger are free. Free parking. The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center, 4751 US Highway 49 North, Concord.

Saturday, Oct. 26

Halloween Treat Trail & Outdoor Movie

5:30-8 pm | Oct. 26. Trick-or-treating event for children 12 and younger. Early registration required, as spaces are limited. Local businesses hand out prepackaged candy to kids. Families can also enjoy games and activities following the trail. Bailey Road Park, 11536 Bailey Rd.

Trick or Treating at Birkdale Village

10 am – noon | Oct. 26. Come dressed in your costumes and trick or treat at Birkdale Village’s participating retailers and restaurants. Please note candy is while supplies last at all Village participating businesses. Check in at Concierge starting at 10 am to grab a map of participating restaurants and retailers. Stop by Urban Air’s tent in The Plaza for a raffle wheel with prizes and candy. Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Music Helping Communities: A fundraising concert

4 pm | Oct. 26. Music at St. Alban’s concert series will present a fundraising concert by the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra Chamber Players, featuring music of Bach, Telemann and Rosenmüller. Your donations will be sent to the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina to support the hurricane relief efforts in those communities. The concert is free but your donations to https://cfwnc.org/ or https://support.episcopalrelief.org are gratefully accepted. Donations accepted via checks made payable to CFWNC or the Episcopal Relief Foundation or by credit cards through the foundation websites. St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell Ln., Davidson.

Cornelius Youth Orchestras

3-4pm | Oct. 26. Concert by  Woodwind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, & Orchestra. Joe V. Knox Auditorium @ Charles Mack Citizen Center,  215 N. Main St., Mooresville 28115.

Halloween Brew-Boo Tour

Noon-6:30 pm | Oct. 26. Tour includes luxury transportation, tour escort, 5 door prizes, pizza, 12 tastings, bottled water and 2 souvenir pint glasses for every guest. $59.95 All attendees must be at Lost Worlds Brewery 19700-D One Norman Blvd., Cornelius, at noon.

Sunday, Oct. 27

Trunk or Treat

Halloween in Huntersville
