Cain Center Instructor Show

Daily | June 12-Aug. 4. The Cain Family Instructor Show is a chance for current and past students to come and admire the work of their favorite teachers. Our instructors are passionate professionals that create a wonderful environment of skill building and fine arts dialogue. Cain Center for the Arts, Catawba Avenue.

ArtPop Street Gallery: 10th Anniversary

Daily | June 12-Aug. 4. Cain Center for the Arts and ArtPop Street Gallery are celebrating Art Pop Street Gallery 10th Anniversary.  Art Pop Street Gallery Charlotte Class of 2023 will be the participating artists in this exhibit. Cain Center for the Arts, Catawba Avenue.

Thursday, June 15

Senior Dance

3:30 – 4:30 pm | Thursdays. This free class is designed for senior adults to improve flexibility, breath, balance, mobility, and fluidity by exploring various elements of ballet, jazz, modern, and improvisation. Participants can choose to take the class seated, standing, or a combination of both. Presented by Charlotte Ballet. Northern Regional Recreation Center, 18121 Old Statesville Rd., Cornelius.

Live at LangTree

6:30 – 9 pm | June 15. Megan Doss, country tunes,  a mixture of top 40 pop dance hits, the best classic rock hits and a touch of rock’n’roll. LangTree Lake Norman, 401 Langtree Rd., Mooresville.

Dance Without Limits

Noon – 1 pm | June 15.  A Culture Blocks program presented by Order My Steps designed for seniors of all levels.  Improve strength, coordination and mobility while learning new steps and styles. David B. Waymer Recreation Center, 14008 Holbrooks Rd., Huntersville.

Ladies Night Out

5-8 pm | June 15. A strolling shopping experience through Birkdale Village as you shop special retail deals, enter into giveaways. Grab a passport at Concierge to receive the special deals located at each store starting at 5 pm. The first 50 ladies to check in at Concierge will receive a swag bag filled with Birkdale Village goodies. Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Hot Rod Power Tour

LalaCaboosa

Food Truck Fridays

11:30 am-1 pm | June. 16. The town Parks & Rec will have games onsite to enjoy while you wait for your order or after your meal from Urban Flavor, so come on your own or bring your friends, family and coworkers along. Robbins Park, West Catawba Ave.

Saturday, June 17

Juneteenth

4-7 pm | June 17. Everyone is invited for the Ada Jenkins Center’s third annual Juneteenth Celebration with music and performances, kid-friendly fun, a Black-owned business marketplace, and free dinner for the first 400 people.

Davidson Farmers Market

9 am – noon| June 17. Rain or Shine. No pets. the Mecklenburg County Master Gardeners table to welcome them back to the DFM. They will be at the market every Saturday for all of your local gardening Q&As. Vendors  accept Snap/EBT. Live music and playground for children. Downtown Davidson.

Concerts @ the Circles

5-6:30 pm acoustic artist; 7-9 pm headline artists | June 17. Groove Machine. Live music on Jetton Street near Clean Juice, Davidson. This block of Jetton Street will be closed from noon-10 pm on concert evenings.

Lake Norman Overlanding & Jeep Club

5-9 pm | June 17. Jeep Night Cornelius. Music by Jill Goodson Band and food truck. Family friendly event with fun kid activities provided. D9 Brewing, 11138 Treynorth Dr., Cornelius.

Juneteenth Festival

1-5 pm | June 17. The 2023 North Carolina Juneteenth Festival themed “Educating, Empowering, Entertaining” will feature 100 black-owned companies. Crafts, culture, performances, art, kids games, information and more is some of what attendees can expect. Free giveaways, discounts, and coupons make the vendor shopping experience like no other.  This is a family friendly free event. Free tickets. Sunday, June 18

Papa-Palooza at Love Lake Norman

10 an – noon | June 18. In addition to a worship experience that connects you to God, hang out on the patio afterward for fun, dad-type stuff including sampling some great smoked meats from some Love Lake Norman dads, some awesome vintage cars and fun games. Love Lake Norman meets at the Cain Center For The Arts, 21348 Catawba Ave.
