Rural Hill hosts traditional Scottish New Years events
Come out to Historic Rural Hill and start 2022 off right with a First Footin’ annual walk and celebration of Hogmanay, or Scottish New Years.
Schedule: 11 am– Step off for the First Footin’ Walk around the farm grounds; noon – Stone Soup Blessing and Gathering.
Historic Rural Hills is located on Neck Road in Huntersville.

Zootastic Park Christmas Wonderland of Lights
6 – 9 pm Sunday through Thursday; 6-10 pm Fridays and Saturdays. $10 per person (ages 2 and older).
Use 448 Pilch Road entrance, Troutman. You will start lining up on the road with the light up arches.

5 to 9 pm. The Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s annual holiday event features a topiary display, rolling lights of the Piedmont Prairie and twinkling cherry trees. Advance tickets for Holidays at the Garden are being sold online. A limited number of tickets are being sold for various time slots to help control the crowd. CDC protocols will be followed. Food trucks will be available.

This multi-disciplinary exhibition features work from husband and wife team Terry and Sue Ruhs of Waxhaw. Cornelius Arts Center. Gallery hours of operation: 10 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday.
