COMING SOON: CHICK-FIL-A, BEHIND THE SIGN IS THE NEW ANDY’S FROZEN CUSTARD

June 17. West Catawba Avenue has been known for its banks, but, given new construction, it’s also the highway to fast food. Several fast food stores will be opening their doors soon, ranging from the new Chick-fil-A and Five Guys in the Catawba at Knox project just east of Bank of America to Cook Out, opening across Catawba early next month. It’s going in the old Pizza Hut, which has moved to Lakeshore Marketplace. Meanwhile, look for stores in the Catawba at Knox project to open during the third quarter.

If you’re still not satisfied, there’s always Starbucks and Waffle House, not to mention Bojangles’, Jersey Mike’s, McDonald’s, Subway, Taco Bell and Wendy’s all close by. Of course there’s also independently owned Big Bite’z, a food fast sit-down and take-out place with congenial local folk.
