Oct. 12. Today is the last day to donate water for Torrence Chapel AME Zion’s water drive to support residents of Jackson, Miss. Rev. Kinston Jones, pastor of Torrence Chapel, says the ministry launched a water drive last month to fill a 48-foot trailer after speaking to Jackson’s mayor after learning that one of his members has family there. To thank the community for their support, Torrence Chapel is serving hotdogs and hamburgers starting at noon. Torrence Chapel is located at 21517 Torrence Chapel Road.
