Virtually no wait to vote at Cornelius Town Hall this morning

Oct. 19. There was virtually no waiting in line this morning at Town Hall during the fifth day of Early Voting in North Carolina. Through Sunday, a total of 3,662 people voting early. Sunday was the least busy, with 384 votes cast; Thursday was the busiest, with 1,320.

Hough High had a similar pattern: 300 votes on Sunday, 918 on the first day of early voting on Thursday, and a total of 2,735 during four full days of early voting.

Early voting hours are:

Monday-Friday – 8 am to 7:30 pm

Saturdays – 8 am to 3 pm

Sundays – 1 pm to 5 pm

Off days: Nov. 1 and 2 (last two days before Election Day)
