Nov. 15. By Dave Yochum. You might say Cornelius was a tale of two cities on Election Day. Kamala Harris won Precinct 202, which includes neighborhoods around Town Hall, including Old Town Cornelius and Antiquity. Cornelius’ three other precincts—242, 208 and 240—went for Trump.
The actual vote at 202/Town Hall was 3,771 for Harris, 3,652 for Trump. Overall as a town, Cornelius went for Trump—10,237 for the former president, to 8,327 for the sitting vice president.

Mecklenburg County was more like 202/Town Hall in terms of whom they voted for: Harris took Mecklenburg 371,871 votes to 185,970 for Trump.
North Carolina, of course, went for Trump, 2.88 million to 2.69 million for Harris.
North Carolina’s 100 county boards of elections will each meet to certify their results for the 2024 general election at 11 am today, Nov. 15. Known as canvass it’s the official process of determining the votes have been counted and tabulated correctly, resulting in the authentication of the official election results.
Those votes are from New residents from the democratic cities they had to run from. Now they want to recreate the caos they left. Then they will leave here to.
So typical. Recent College graduates can’t get enough of liberalism
“Chaos”
Of course, not a word of this is true. Time to get your tinfoil hat adjusted.
With due respect, those who voted for Harris believe in honesty, integrity, rule of law and our judicial system, support of the constitution, fiscal responsibility, democracy and freedom. I feel sorry for those who will soon understand what it is like to live under an autocracy.
Hey Rick, Your MayGay, Bless your heart!
Wrong, Rick those votes for Harris in Old Town Cornelius are from us old citizens in Cornelius. We plan on dying here.So it looks like the others will have to run at some point. I hopefully will not die anytime soon.
Who cares? She lost. Time to deal with it.
