Nov. 15. Light Up Cornelius, a local holiday tradition, will be 4-7 pm Saturday, Nov. 27 behind Cornelius Town Hall. Festivities will include holiday songs, horse-drawn carriage rides, craft vendors, photos with Santa Claus, a s’mores station, a model train display, food vendors and the tree lighting ceremony at 5:45 pm. The event, which is put on by the Cornelius Parks Dept., is free to attend.
