Sept. 5. The Town of Davidson is now accepting applications for 2024 appointments to its Advisory Boards.
The deadline to apply for these board is Friday, Oct. 6:
* Affordable Housing & Equity Board,
* Design Review Board/Historic Preservation Commission,
* Planning Board, and/or the
* Davidson Public Art Commission.

A nominating committee reviews applications and nominates residents for each available position to be voted on by the Board of Commissioners. Appointees begin service on their respective board(s) in January 2024. New members will serve a three-year term from January 2024 to December 2026, with the possibility of a second term.
