Participants are asked to assign points to the categories they consider priorities. They can also answer a few brief questions that will help the town tailor the budget to meet their needs and expectations.

The town budget includes funding operational and capital projects throughout the fiscal year. Ultimately, the town budget determines about one-third of the property tax rate, with the county responsible for the remainder.

The Fiscal Year 2025 budget must be adopted by June 30, 2024; it will go into effect on July 1.
