Feb, 15. At their meeting tonight, Cornelius Commissioners will consider a conditional rezoning request which, if approved, would permit Bluestream Partners to add 103 single family homes to their Bailey’s Glen development in the southeast corner of the town. Phase 1 for this project was approved last year, and encompassed some 57 acres and 72 lots. The Phase 2 request which the Town Board will consider Monday encompasses approximately 52 acres with 103 proposed single family residential lots. If Phase 2 is approved, the total project will be 109.92 acres with 175 lots. The town is also expected to approve a $2.86 million contract with Eaglewood Construction to develop the Caldwell Station Creek Greenway. The town board meeting begins at 7 pm, in Town Hall on Catawba Avenue.
