A public open house session Oct. 20 with the Town of Cornelius and the North Carolina Department of Transportation will focus on the Torrence Chapel-West Catawba intersection. The Town of Cornelius contracted WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff to have professional traffic engineers and planners evaluate and provide recommendations to ease congestion. The meeting will be 6:30 to 8:30 pm Oct. 20 in the Town Hall Assembly Room.
