Today, tomorrow are final days of Early Voting; where to vote on Election Day

Nov. 1. Today and tomorrow are the last two days of early voting in North Carolina. Some 368,546 people took advantage of early voting county-wide as of Thursday night. At Cornelius Town Hall, 16,857 voted early, with daily counts well above 1,000 most days.

Today is the last full day of Early Voting, with 33 locations closing at 7;30 pm. Tomorrow (Saturday) all Early Voting locations will be open from 8 am to 3 pm.

Election Day heads up

Polls will be open Tuesday Nov. 5 from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm.

To find your polling place, click here. Unlike Early Voting, you must vote at your assigned precinct on Election Day.

—Any voter in line at their assigned polling place at 7:30 pm on Election Day will be able to vote.

—The busiest times tend to be early in the morning and just before the polls close. Avoid longer lines by voting at off-peak times.

—Voters will be asked to show photo ID when they check in.
