Sept. 9. Contestant registration is now open for the Ada Jenkins Center’s annual Food Fight competition where restaurants and home chefs compete to be named the best in categories like, salads, pasta, meat and desserts.

The contestants provide samples, and then guests vote for their favorites.

The family-friendly event takes place 11:30 am to 2 pm Saturday, Nov. 9 in a block-party setting outside the Ada Jenkins Center, 212 Gamble St. in Davidson.
