April 18. Lake Norman non-profits ranging from Angels & Sparrows to Veterans with Disabilities shared a total of $23,000 raised by the Huntersville Happy Hour Rotary Club during the Men That Cook fundraiser March 26. A variety of teams led by club members cooked for good causes—21 local agencies and non-profits—for the third year in a row. Checks were handed distributed last night at D9 Brewing. The club meets every Monday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Fox & Hound in Birkdale Village.
