The Tawba Walk Arts & Music Festival is Saturday, April 14 and centers on the Oak Street Mill and Town Hall in downtown Cornelius.
Tawba Walk features include two stages of live bands and performances, local artists and craftsmen, craft breweries and a kids zone.
The event, which runs from 2-8 pm, is free. Parking is permitted at Cornelius Elementary School.
There will also be a guided walking tour of historic Cornelius starting at 6 pm. The starting point for the one mile, one hour tour is in front of Town Hall. Historical tidbits include when the town was incorporated, the Gem Yarn Mill and the history of Cornelius Elementary.
