Dec. 18. For Christmas and New Years the Republic Services, the town’s waste removal contractor, will provide additional trash pick up—up to six 30-gallon bags of trash on pick up day. On the recycling side, Republic will take up to six 30-gallon clear plastic bags on pick up day. Clear will help Republic identify what is recycle vs. trash.

Nov. 3. Dr. Mike Miltich has succeeded in his second bid for Cornelius Town Board. He garnered 1,424 votes,  putting him in fifth place. Save the date: Tree lighting Nov. 28

The Fourth Annual Light Up Cornelius tree lighting will be Saturday, Nov. 28 from 4 pm to 6 pm on the Town Hall lawn. Festivities will include a visit from Santa, carriage rides, entertainment and arts and crafts. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:30 pm.
