Sept 14.The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce nominating committee has recommended six people for positions on the board: Philippa K. Brown, Birkdale Village; Joshua Dobi, Dobi Financial Group; Thomas E. Gettelman, Carolinas Healthcare System; Sam James, James Funeral Home; Mark C. Patafio, Yadkin Bank; and Tricia Sisson, The Range at Lake Norman. Additional nominations can be made at the Sept. 28 meeting.
