Kiwanis gave back for Thanksgiving

Nov. 30. The Kiwanis Club of Lake Norman assembled 75 Thanksgiving meals for distribution by the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. The well-known service club, which meets each Thursday at lunchtime at Brooklyn South Pizza, also delivered 85 turkeys to Ada Jenkins in Davidson. Kiwanians put the meals together at the Publix on Gilead Road.

Davidson Rotary Christmas Tree Village

The Rotary Club of Davidson is accepting orders for Christmas trees that will be on the Davidson Town Green for display during the Christmas in Davidson 2015 celebration, Dec. 3-5.
