June 3. The Charlotte Symphony comes back to Bailey Road Park June 19 with a “Spirit of America” performance and fireworks. The great Cornelius tradition starts at 6 pm with food trucks and concessions. Beer and wine will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists. Blankets and lawn chairs will help you enjoy the summer pops concert.

No pet, bottles, smoking

Picnic baskets are welcome but glass containers or bottles, pets, smoking, e-cigs, tents, or open flames are not.

Patriotic music by Rockie Lynne will start at 6:45 pm; the Charlotte Symphony will take the stage at 8:30.

No COVID-19 restrictions

Town officials say there are no coronavirus restrictions.

Parking

Limited parking is available in the park, as well as at Bailey Middle and Hough High Schools, with free shuttle service beginning at 5:30 pm
