June 21. Bring your picnic baskets, chairs and blankets for a free evening of patriotic and popular music under the stars at Bailey Road Park tomorrow, June 22.

Gates open at 6 pm.  Rockie Lynne is the prelude act followed by the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, and then comes a spectacular fireworks show.

Concessions will be available for purchase, and beer and wine proceeds will benefit Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists.

No pets, no glass containers or bottles, no tobacco products, no smoking, no e-cigs, no tents, and no open flames allowed.

This fireworks display, weather permitting, is the only one planned in Cornelius. The Peninsula Club’s show for members, which the public would watch as well, is not being put on this year because of construction on the golf course.
