June 19. The Town of Cornelius will host the Charlotte Symphony this Saturday for the annual Symphony in the Park and fireworks show at Bailey Road Park.

Gates open at 6 pm, Rockie Lynne performs at 6:45 pm and the Symphony takes the stage at 8:30 pm, followed by fireworks around 9:45 pm.

There will be a variety of food and beer and wine concessions, as well as a KidsZone.

Fireworks

The fireworks at the Symphony in the Park are outstanding every year. That said, The Peninsula Club is not having a show this year due to ongoing construction.

Symphony do’s & don’ts

Don’t forget your chairs or blankets to enjoy the show, but no pets, smoking, tents or glass containers.

The event is put on by Cornelius Parks and Recreation, with event partner Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists and presenting sponsor Novant Health.
