2022 VLN photo contest winner by David Weber

Aug. 22. Visit Lake Norman’s 9th Annual “Capture Lake Norman” photo contest, which runs from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30, 3, is open to photographers 18 years or older. Contestants may enter by completing a photo submission on VLN’s website or using #capturelkn on Facebook or Instagram.

The essence of the contest is to reveal what parts of Lake Norman capture visitors. Whether it be a lake sunset, lake activities with family and friends, or picturesque attractions, restaurants and parks, the winning photos will be selected from various submissions that embody the best of Lake Norman.

Along with being featured in the Official Lake Norman Visitor’s Guide, the grand prize winner will receive a $200 VISA gift card and a Lake Norman-branded sweatshirt. The second place winner will receive a $100 VISA gift card and a Lake Norman-branded shirt, and the third place winner will be awarded a $50 VISA gift card and Lake Norman-branded hat.
