March 19. Mixing with people may not be the best thing right now, but you can get out and enjoy Spring. It officially arrives at 11:49 pm (or 11:50 pm depending on whom you ask) tonight.
It’s properly called the vernal equinox, that point in time when the Earth’s axis isn’t tilted either toward or away from the sun. Scientifically speaking, the sun will be directly over the equator moving northward. The sun will appear to rise exactly east and set exactly west.
All we know is the ornamental trees in Cornelius are blooming. They’re especially pretty on Jetton, where Jetton Park is a wonderful place to walk and take in some pretty views of the lake.
