Ronald Lynn Mortenson, 63, of Cornelius died March 15, 2015.  He was born on June 29, 1951 in Benson, MN to the late Lowell Ralph and Edna Alice (Lee) Mortenson.

Ron was a CATS bus driver and also worked part time at The Pines in Davidson.  He sang with his church choirs and with both the Central Piedmont  and North Mecklenburg Community Choruses.

Survivors include his close friend Sarah Sue Hardinger, sons Shawn (Kelly) of Minnesota and Davin (Holly) Mortenson of Huntersville; daughters Trisha Jo (Byron) Bartels of Minnesota and Sarah Elizabeth (Trey) Nodine of Cornelius; siblings, Sonja Sahli, Sue Jorgenson, Bonnie Johnson, and Robert Moore; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Parker Bartels and Lily Ann Mortenson.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on April 11 at Advent Lutheran Church in Charlotte.
