The author of Auld Lang Zyne and other cherished Scottish works died 225 years ago but Robert Burns is still remembered. His birthday Jan. 25, 1759 will be commemorated at a traditional Scottish supper at Historic Rural Hill, the Davidson family plantation in Huntersville. The dinner will include a silent auction as well as a cash bar with beer, wine and Scotch whisky.
