Wear your PJs to the Teddy Bear Breakfast. Registration required.

Jan. 9. The Cornelius Parks & Recreation’s is offering a new event, the Teddy Bear Breakfast, on Monday, Jan. 23, at the Cain Center for the Arts

The 8-9:30 am event is for ages 2-5 and their families.

Participants can dress in their  favorite PJs and bring a teddy bear. Breakfast will include teddy bear pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, and orange juice and coffee.

After breakfast, parents and children will listen to stories read by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library – Cornelius staff, enjoy crafts, and build a new stuffed best friend (one stuffed animal will be built per registered child).

Due to limited capacity, registration is required for all attendees regardless of age.

Cost for residents

• —$32 for pair of one parent/guardian and one child
• —$18 for additional child
• —$14 for additional adult

Cost for others

• —$40 for pair of one parent/guardian and one child
• —$23 for additional child
• —$18 for additional adult
