Aug. 1. Gethsemane Baptist Church of Lake Norman  will be hosting its annual Back2School drive-through event Saturday, Aug. 13.

For those who sign up, free backpacks and school supplies will be available for students kindergarten to college from 10 am to noon at the church in Davidson.

Students must be registered for school by Aug. 1 in order to be eligible.
