Aug. 14. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory as temps head toward the mid-90s today and lower 90s tomorrow. The Charlotte Area Transit System will provide free transportation to county libraries as well as recreation centers, including the Northern Regional Recreation Center, 18121 Old Statesville Road in Cornelius.

Weather 

Sun and clouds this afternoon and very humid. High 93-95 with heat indices around 105 degrees. Possible t-storms late afternoon or evening. The Heat Advisory is in effect until 8 pm.

Tuesday

Sun and clouds, hot and humid. T-storms are more likely. High  91-92; heat indices around 100.
