Aug. 1. By Dave Vieser. Barring any last-minute changes, Susan Johnson is expected to be named the new Cornelius Planning Board Chair at the Town Board meeting this evening.

She has been on the planning board for eight years.

“Susan is a native of the Charlotte and Lake Norman area and her expertise in residential real estate and knowledge of the area is what sets her apart in the real estate world” said Deputy Town Manager Wayne Herron.

All Planning Board members are appointed by the Town Board. Members serve three-year staggered terms and must be residents of Cornelius.
