Dec. 28. [Updated 2:45 pm Dec. 29] Terrell Jordan Calliste, 30, and Charles Edward Logan, 36, were arrested on drug charges at 9:26 Thursday morning, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Calliste was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver (PWISD) cocaine as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and a firearm. His address was listed as Cornelius.
Logan was charged with PWISD cocaine and methamphetamine and assault on a female as well as two charges of non-support of a child. His address was also listed as Cornelius.
Both men face charges for crimes within 1,000 feet of a school.
Also arrested at 9:26 this morning was Michael Joseph Pimentel, 51, of Davidson.
He was charged with resisting a public officer, a misdemeanor.
The incident took place at Jay’s at the Lake, where an employee who answered the phone did not comment. The location at 18200 Statesville includes a 1,000 square foot, single-family dwelling. The property in toto is listed for sale at $5.3 million. It’s within walking distance of the new Atrium hospital going up opposite Bailey Road.

Cornelius Police Search Warrant Leads to Three Arrests
After conducting a Narcotics Investigation for several weeks due to various tips reported, detectives with the Cornelius Police Department Crime Reduction Unit, along with the North Mecklenburg SWAT team, executed a search warrant on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Jay’s at the Lake located at 18200 Statesville Road. The search warrant led to the discovery of powder cocaine, methamphetamine, a .22 caliber firearm, and U.S. Currency.
Charles Edward Logan was charged with Felony with Intent to Distribute (PWISD) Cocaine, Felony PWISD Methamphetamine, Felony Sales of Narcotics within 1000 ft of a School, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Terrell Jordan Calliste was charged with Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Felony PWISD Cocaine, Felony Sales of Narcotics within 1000 ft of a School, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Michael Joseph Pimentel was charged with Misdemeanor Resist, Delay, or Obstruct a Police Officer.
All three individuals were arrested on scene and transported without incident to the Mecklenburg County Jail. Pimentel was issued a $2,500 secured bond. Logan and Calliste were not issued a bond.
