On the Roxx is moving to a larger space in Lakeshore Market and Bin 100 is expanding.

Jan. 25. By TL Bernthal. The owner of On the Roxx is moving the nightspot to larger space in the Lakeshore Marketplace on West Catawba where he says it will have a more comfortable lounge feeling two doors down from Irish Cue.

Dante Spino says his lease runs out at the One Norman Boulevard location at the end of February, and he’ll re-open in the roughly one-third larger space soon after.

The grand opening will probably be in mid-March.

The move will help grow the business, Spino said, because the space will accommodate more customers and will feel less like a bar than a lounge. Food options could be added later, he said.

Meanwhile, there will be a 12th anniversary celebration and moving out party on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the current location with special entertainment that weekend.

On the Roxx is next to Bin 110, which recently said it is expanding and renovating.
