Gift of Rotary Club of North Mecklenburg to Cain Center green space

Sept. 16. The Rotary Club of North Mecklenburg will contribute four pieces of outdoor musical play equipment to Cain Park, the green area on the south side of the Cain Center for the Arts. The donation, valued at $20,000, will be among the discussion items at tonight’s Town Board meeting.

“The enhancement of Cain Park with a beautiful display of musical instruments for kids and adults to touch and feel is a wonderful and creative addition to this new downtown park,” said Mayor Woody Washam.

The Make an Impact Foundation also contributed to the installation.
