Aug. 28. The Ada Jenkins Center has expanded with two new after-school programs to help area families, which means new volunteer opportunities:

• Drop In and Volunteer any or all weekdays, Sept. 9-24. Tutors/mentors are needed for the K-5 students in the LEARN Works afterschool program.  The volunteer shift includes a brief orientation about the program, completing a Release and Waiver form, a briefing of the agenda, and the day’s assignment.
• Recurring weekly volunteers for LEARN Works after-school program: Tutors, enrichment team, ESL instructors, carpool attendants, snack volunteers and more.
