Oct. 24. Mt Zion United Methodist Church will hold its 85th Annual BBQ on Saturday, Nov. 2.  This has been an important tradition for the citizens of Cornelius for generations, giving people a chance to enjoy a meal together, renew friendships, remember our shared history and welcome newcomers.

Barbeque pre-orders are now open on the church’s website: mtzionumc.net . The dining room will be open at 11 am day of. There will be hot plates (BBQ, slaw, yams, bread, dessert, drink), BBQ sandwiches and a kid’s hotdog meal.

The drive-thru also opens at 11 am. You may pick up your BBQ pre-orders, to-go plates, and sandwiches at the drive-thru.
All proceeds from the Mt. Zion BBQ go to local missions. .
