May 23. Both Huntersville and Cornelius are holding Memorial Day services in conjunction with local American Legion posts. Huntersville’s ceremony will be held at 11 am at Veterans’ Park downtown, while Cornelius’ will be held behind Town Hall, adjacent to Rotary Plaza, at 10 am.

In both cases, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Viewers may bring a lawn chair and/or blanket.
