Nov. 4. Lake Norman Lucky Cats, whose goal is to offer humane, long-term solutions to cat overpopulation, is holding a Fall Fix-a-thon Raffle to cover the costs of caring for and placing 250 community cats.
It hopes to raise $25,000 through a raffle—with amazing items including:

—Two-night Oak Island waterfront vacation
—Three-night cabin on Lake Norman
—One of five $100 Amazon gift cards

There has been an explosion in community cat and kitten populations during the pandemic. Turning a community cat into a Lucky Cat costs an average of $100, the volunteer-driven organization says.
