Jan. 16. Lost Worlds Brewing is soon to be a destination for cold beer and hot coffee with the opening of Lost Worlds Coffee. The Cornelius taproom will open at 7 am on weekdays and 8 am on weekends for those ready to “Start Your Adventure Earlier.”

The grand opening is on Wednesday, Jan. 22 but the full morning experience is happening now during the soft opening.

What to expect

Enjoy a cup of locally roasted Enderly Coffee, a quality addition to the Lost Worlds’ taproom. Choose your favorite morning drink ranging from chai latte to cappuccinos and non-coffee drinks too.

Lauren Wilbur specializes in sourdough treats fresh from her own certified kitchen at home

A complement to the morning pick me up are fresh pastries from Homemade by Lauren. Lauren Wilbur started baking out of her own kitchen more than three years ago and specializes in sourdough. The hand-crafted pastries include plenty of gluten-free options, like bagels and cinnamon rolls.

Protein bars, oatmeal and other options will also be on hand to start your day.

Morning routine

Going where no brewery has gone before, Lost Worlds Coffee aims to utilize the morning hours to provide an environment for those working remote or hosting a private meeting. The expansive taproom and 3,500 square foot biergarten offer numerous seating options—or book the private event space for a large group.

Quotable

“We’ve always been about creating a sense of community and exploration at Lost Worlds,” said Dave Hamme, founder of Lost Worlds Brewing. “With Lost Worlds Coffee, we’re expanding that spirit into the morning hours, where we are set to become the new favorite morning destination for the Cornelius community and beyond.”
