Aug. 4. Look for road closures and parking challenges during the LKN Fondo bike event in Davidson on Sunday. Three rides—30 miles, 50 miles and 75 miles—get under way at 7:30 am. The rides will originate on Lorimer Road near the town green and head east on Davidson-Concord Road.

Lorimer Road will be closed from the CVS parking lot to Davidson-Concord Road from 6 pm Saturday to 6 pm Sunday. Downtown parking for Sunday church services may be impacted by this event.
