THE SCARY SHAKESPEARE PUMPKIN!

UPDATE. Davidson Community Players’ third annual Boos & Brews short play festival is looking for your short plays, themed around things scary. To be considered:

• Your play is about 10 minutes in length.
• The theme is Halloween/Ghost/Spirit-oriented (comedy or drama).
• No more than five characters.
• The set and costumes/props must be minimalistic.

E-mail your submission in a Word document by Sept. 9.

Submissions should include a cover page that contains the title, your name, email address, and phone number. All subsequent pages must have the title only, along with the page number.  (The cover page will be removed so that members will not know who wrote what.)

Playwrights whose work is chosen for performance will be notified by Sept. 20. E-mail your submission in a Word document to Sylvia@davidsoncommunityplayers.org

The selection committee members will choose the top six or seven to be performed live at the festival which runs Oct. 24-26th. Prizes for plays range from $50 to $100. More info: Sylvia@davidsoncommunityplayers.org
