Feb. 25. The Mecklenburg County Delegation to the NC General Assembly will host an online listening session for constituents this Saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 to 11 am. A majority of the delegation’s 17 members will be in attendance. Constituents are encouraged to sign up to speak for up to two minutes about what issues they would like the members to work on, concerns in their community, and reactions to legislation pending in the NCGA.
Sen. Natasha Marcus, a Davidson resident, is chair of the delegation.
“The pandemic makes it unsafe for us to meet in person, but we want to hear from our constituents as we start a new legislative session. So, we are hosting our listening session online and look forward to hearing from the public,” she said.
