Sept. 25. The Davidson Lands Conservancy (DLC) has been reaccredited through the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, a national board. DLC is part of a network of over 450 accredited land trusts across the nation.
“We are a stronger organization than ever for having gone through the rigorous accreditation renewal process. Our strength means special places here will be protected forever for generations to come,” said Beth Wytiaz, executive director.
DLC provided extensive documentation and was subject to a comprehensive third-party evaluation prior to achieving accreditation.
Ed Harris, DLC board chair, said the conservancy is committed to continuing its collaboration with the Town of Davidson, counties, Davidson College and landowners.
