Stormin’ Norman LKN classic rock band has been formed by combining two local bands, Mid Life Crisis and the Pomolas. The members are local residents who recognize the impact the virus has had on local charities and as such ask that if you enjoy the music, please donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas through Big Day at the Lake.
Stormin’ Norman will match the first $500 for every dollar donated.
Background
Big Day at the Lake has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas for 16-plus years, but this year’s event was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the years, thanks to Lake Norman individuals and businesses, more than $1.4 million has been raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas, with virtually no overhead.
Boat Hosts have hosted Bigs and Littles for a full day of fun on Lake Norman every year, except this year. Big Brothers Big Sisters continues to support mentors for at risk kids, but financial support is down because of COVID-19.
Come enjoy the concert and please make a donation.
