Want to meet new friends or have something fun to do that looks great on your college application?  The Lake Norman Teen Council provides service projects, volunteer initiatives, workshops, fundraisers, and the opportunity to go on teen trips. Sample council activities include local festivals, attending youth forums, campus cruises, skating or bowling trips, conducting collections for local charities, dining out and holiday parties.

The LKN Teen Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from Sept. 10 through May 26. Meetings start at  6:30 pm Cornelius Town Hall and end at 8. All teens in grades 6 – 12 are welcome to join and applications for the new school year are being accepted now.

Contracts are due before attending a council function for the 2019-2020 school year.
