Aug. 18. The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for two popular leadership programs. One program is geared towards adults in the business community while the other program targets high school students.

Leadership Lake Norman is an in-depth study of management styles, personalities and involved activities that illustrate positive leadership opportunities for business minded adults. The program takes place over an eight month person and give participants the chance to tour facilities and participate in seminars. The program will accept 21 participants. Applications are due by Sept. 11. The program costs $25 for Chamber members and $500 for non-members.

High school students with a 3.2. GPA or higher, community involvement and leadership skills are encouraged to apply for Junior Leadership Lake Norman. The chamber will accept 18 local participants.
