JoAnne Cannino Schillace, 88, of Concord N.C., died June 24, 2015, at CMC Northeast. She was born July 24, 1926 in Brooklyn,NY, daughter of the late Antonio Cannino and Giacoma Mazzola Cannino.
JoAnne was a retired Comptometer Operator and a Catholic by faith. She was the best mother and grandmother you could ever ask for. She so loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing and dancing. JoAnne also loved and enjoyed opera and ballet. She looked forward to meeting and socializing with customers at the Bagel Bin and Deli II, where she made wonderful friends. She was very generous and giving, and always thinking of others.

Along with her parents, JoAnne was preceded in death by her sisters, Grace, Angela, and Serena, and her brother Frank.

Surviving are; daughters, Maria O’Shea and her husband Michael of New Jersey, and Stephanie Cadolino of Concord NC; son, Gregory Schillace of New Jersey; grandchildren, Steven, Phillip, Nicholas, Ross, Alexis, Samantha, Alexandra and Jessica; great grandchildren, Alyssa and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 26, from 4:00 -7:00 pm, at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville N.C. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
